Rowing Championship on Saturday, April 26, 2008

 

Dear Coaches, Parents and Spectators:

 

We look forward to welcoming you to the 18th Annual New Jersey Scholastic

Rowing Championship on Saturday, April 26, 2008. Please take a moment to

read the following information.

 

There will be no curbside parking on either side of North Park Drive. Cars parked in these areas will be ticketed.

 

Last year, over 100 tickets were issued for $70.00 each to cars parked on North

Park Drive. The County has advised us they will be towing cars this year.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

Parking:

All spectators are asked to access the course using Bishop Eustace

Prep off of Route 70. There will be no access to North Park Drive from

Cuthbert Blvd. Parking for spectators will be provided at Bishop Eustace

Prep (follow the signs and look for parking attendants). Parking is $10 per

car. There are NO IN/OUT Privileges. Free shuttle bus service will be

provided between Bishop Eustace Prep and the racecourse.

 

DIRECTIONS:

1) From RT. 295 follow Rt. 70 West. You will pass the Crown Plaza on your

left. Proceed past the cemetery and get in your right hand lane. Follow the

jug handle immediately after Goodwill and cross over Rt. 70 directly into

the Eustace parking lot.

 

2) From the Ben Franklin Bridge. Follow Rt. 30 East (Admiral Wilson Blvd) to

Rt. 70 East. Stay in your right lane. Turn right into the Eustace lot.

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FOOD TRAILERS & TOW VEHICLES:

 

* For closer access, food trailers and their tow vehicles may be parked in

the Williamson lot, which is located on North Park Dr west of the Pavilion

next to the ball field. Each vehicle will be charged $15.

 

* Food trailers must be unhitched from their tow vehicle. Parking will not available until Saturday morning at 5a.m. There is no parking in this lot on Friday.

Schools and parent groups are not allowed to drive their trailers on the

grass to designated tent area.

 

*  All tents, equipment and grills must be carried in from curbside (suggest bringing a cart or wagon) you are allowed to set up your tents anytime after 3:00 PM on Friday but we do not provide security. No tent shall be within 100 feet of the finish line. All tents

must be 50 feet from the banks of the river. You cannot set up tents on the

ball fields. No vehicles are permitted next to your tent. You will be towed.

 

* You are allowed to cook for your teams, but you can't sell food or drink to

the public. Please use the utmost care when using a grill. Properly dispose

of coals and waste after you are finished. Please leave your area as you

found it. It is your responsibility to properly dispose of trash. If you

need extra garbage bags come to the finish line and we will provide them for you.

 

BOAT TRAILERS & TEAM TRUCKS:

Please park your boat trailers and team trucks on North Park Drive between

the team staging area and Donahue Avenue (behind the finish line).
